About Lambley Park
The original Victorian gentleman’s residence was destroyed by fire in 2004 but the new building has risen from the ashes (see link to Project Phoenix on right) to provide quality, comfortable accommodation incorporating some of the latest technology to provide an energy efficient country house with 5 spacious en-suite letting rooms whilst still retaining some of the features that gave the original building its style and charm. We shy away from using the word luxury as it is a very personal value and let you decide for yourself.
In the summer the wild flower meadow at the rear is in full bloom and on a sunny day it is a pleasure to enjoy breakfast on the terrace enjoying the views out to the coast. The dining room is available to sit and meet with a small lounge area. Board games are available and if you would like to bring a take away home for dinner, plates and cutlery are available for use. Additionally there is a comfortable seating area on the landing for relaxing.
The underfloor heating beneath the stone floors keeps the house toasty warm and the Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery system ensures fresh air circulates throughout creating a healthy environment in which to unwind. If you are interested in technology please ask and we will show you around some of the features incorporated, such as the Ecocent hot water system which uses the stale, warm air from the building to supply a small internal air source heat pump and provide the hot water in the house using minimal amount of energy. Maybe the solar panels integrated into the roof tiling system or the central vacuuming system which makes an environment better for allergy sufferers are of interest!
